Breastfeeding Videos & More

Breastfeeding is learned behavior.  Your baby is born with a rooting reflex and a sucking reflex to help him/her feed, the rest is learned.  Hunger, eating, and digesting are all new experiences for your baby.  Your milk will come in after the baby is born but breastfeeding a learned skill.  For most of human history, we learned how to breastfeed by observing others around us.  They would support us when it was our turn.  But we’ve lost that part of our culture.  We don’t automatically know how to breastfeed just because we had a baby.  These videos can help bring back some of that knowledge.  You’re welcome to contact a leader for additional support.  We encourage you to come to a meetup to learn even more.
